Twitter Tweaks It's Welcome Page Ahead of IPO

If you have noticed (or maybe haven't), our darling social network Twitter has quietly updated the twitter.com homepage over the weekend, changing the visual design and welcome text that visitor see when they open the site.

Seen above, the new design is subtle, and focuses on two major points: Mobile, and just exactly what newbies to twitter should expect.

We might call this a minor change. But no change is without it's reasons, with the company's intentions to go public.
