PDP SWeeps Ebonyi State Local Government Elections
The people's democratic party (PDP) has won all the chairmanship positions in Local Government elections conducted in Ebonyi state last Saturday. The party also won all the Councillorship elections in the State.
However, According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the election was boycotted by opposition political parties in the state.
Announcing the result of the election in Abakiliki, the chairman of the Ebonyi State independent Electoral Commission (ESIEC), Chief John Nkwuda said APC candidate in the South south scored 43 votes.
The announcement of the results were witnessed by some independent observers and 25 chairmen of different independent electoral commissions accross the country.
